What are your Inn Policies?

Check-in / Check-out:
Arrivals: between 3-8 pm. On your day of arrival, we text you parking and arrival instructions, so if you will be arriving after 8PM you will have your check in instructions right on your phone.

Reservations & Rates:
All rates based on double occupancy, unless offered or stated otherwise. There is an additional charge of $50 per night for each extra person over 5 years of age.. Visa, Master Card or Am-Ex are required as reservation confirmation. $200 deposit is required to reserve rooms with the balance payable on departure. All rates subject to Ct State Room Tax. Gift Certificates are available for that special person or occasion.

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made by an acknowledged e-mail. Voice mail (answering machine) messages do not constitute cancellation confirmation. We will be happy to return your deposit when applicable, less a $50 administration fee, if you provide more than 7 days notice of your cancellation. Major holidays or group bookings (3 or more rooms) require 90 days. Within 7 days (or 60 days on group bookings or holidays) you are responsible for the entire reservations charge. If however we are able to resell ALL nights reserved 24 hours in advance of your check in date, then we will charge a $50 administration fee.

Cancellation upon day of arrival, "no shows" or early departures, are also responsible for ALL nights reserved. Every guest reservation is both important and special to us so please understand our policies are a necessary part of managing a small Bed and Breakfast Inn and cancellations can effect us significantly. If you are worried about having to cancel for any reason, we recommend you purchase travel insurance through a third party for your own financial protection. www.Travelguard.com is one of many companies that offer travel insurance (Please note that we are not endorsing any travel insurance companies).

Events have a separate cancellation policy for your event:
A deposit of $300, $500 or $2000 depending on the size of your event is due at time of reservation of events space. This deposit is non-refundable 7 days after receipt. Balance is due 30 days prior to your event.

What about Breakfast and do you work with dietary restrictions?

Yes! We can accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, etc.).

Make sure you chose the right option when making your reservation

You can choose your room rate with breakfast or without. Although we are a Bed and Breakfast, we have found that many wish to opt out, so we have a lower rate if you choose not to have breakfast

Where do I park?

We have parking onsite for overnight guests only. If you are an overnight guest, please park in the driveway, right in front of the garage doors. We ask that all guests try to be as perpendicular as possible to the garage doors.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We have 1 pet-friendly room, which is The River of Dreams room. There is a $50 fee per pet for the first night and $35 per night for extra nights after the first night to bring your pet.
