“We recently held an event were our company and its associates recognized others in our industry. We couldn't have picked a better venue. We were embraced by the beauty and hospitality that the Inn and its owners provided. As soon as you walk in you feel at home and treated like a member of the owners Patricia and Wayne's family. The Inn has eloquence and charm that deliver such a wonderful feeling. We were given the tour of the Inn from the very comfortable and inviting rooms to the newly remodeled barn suited perfectly for meetings and events. Patricia (who by the way is such a sweet woman and a talented artist) had explained to me that they purchased the Inn in 2006 and officially opened in 2009. You can absolutely tell the love and care that has gone into bringing the Inn to life. I can tell you if you have the opportunity whether you are stopping through the area or you have additional family coming to visit, a professional who is relocating to the area and need a place to stay, I would highly recommend the CT River Valley Inn. It's also THE place to have an event, wedding, anniversary or business meeting. I'm so glad that I found this wonderful place.”

“Fantastic place to call "home" while travelling..”

“Once upon a time, I was a corporate road warrior who stayed at the closest Marriott and became a Marriott Platinum member. Several years ago I began staying at B&B's and have never looked back. I recently spent 3 nights at CT River Valley Inn and must say out of the 150+ B&B's I have stayed at over the years, it is one of the nicest. Let me start with the first "B" - bed. Pat & Wayne have spared no expense in offering guests the finest mattresses and pillows that one can find, rivaling that of any 5 star hotel I have stayed in. Truth be told, I found it difficult to get out of bed in the AM because I was simply so comfortable. Each room has it's own gas fireplace which combined with the easy to use remote control doubles as the room heating system - very nice, cozy, and quite effective. The decor in each room and throughout the house is very upscale and appears to have been carefully selected to compliment the surrounding space and not just thrown together as I've seen in some other B&B's. If you like to relax by reading, don't bother bringing any books - the house and downstairs family/sitting room have books galore in the built-in library shelving. I'm not a big breakfast person so my arrangement with Pat included oatmeal in the AM which was always out and ready for me when I came downstairs. Looking for a restaurant for dinner? There are many restaurants nearby, most within walking distance which is atypical of most B&B's. I had Indian the first night, a salad at a nearby tavern the 2nd night, and sushi my final night.. what a great location! All in all, a fantastic place to stay. So fantastic in fact, that I've decided to stay three nights a week while doing business in the area!”
